CLIENT 1

...had a repayment mortgage with Halifax. Besides his residential property he also had a BTL with no mortgage and I got the residential mortgage changed from repayment to interest only after his brother tried to get it changed with no success. I also added his wife’s name to the BTL property to minimise the tax they pay and in the long term, IHT by also splitting the tenancy in the residential property.

CLIENT 2

...had a £600,000 mortgage free property and only had one child to leave it to, thereby liable to a lot of IHT. Through the use of trusts and planning the IHT was mitigated at 40% saving £240,000.

CLIENT 3

...arranged finance and set up company structure for acquisition of property portfolio.

...restructured unsecured debt obligations to reduce interest paid.

Client purchased a property valued at £540,000. The stamp duty due was £17,125 - we claimed back £10,275 for him on completion.
